Instead of sticking to a short do, theyre growing out their locks and braiding it up. A number of guys across the globe have been posting pictures of themselves on Instagram with the hashtag #manbraid. While some are sticking to a single braid, others are going all out with multiple ones. Celebrities like Harry Styles and Jared Leto have sported this do in the past, but now its the younger lot like 16-year-old Brooklyn Beckham who is catching on to the trend. He posted a pic of a mohawk style braid recently. It can be made to look very masculine when executed well. Thanks to social media, the trend is already catching up in India. At our salon, weve been working on a lot of man braids these days. Men should stick to a single structured braid. This can be textured when working with waves or curls and can be sleeker when working with straight hair. Men with short sides and length on top can braid the top and insert the end of the braid in the braid itself to give a formal yet cool look.
