Halloween Hair Ideas

Courtesy: Yahoo Halloween is the time to go all out. It is the time of the year when going over the top is not scorned upon, instead, you are applauded to put in the efforts to create the perfect look. Forget about looking polished and perfect, Halloween is all about getting into the character you want to be portrayed as. While outfits and accessories are the key aspects in creating a look, the hairstyle is the cherry on the top that brings the whole attire together. Here’s how you can master some of our top favourite characters for Halloween. Audrey Hepburn hairstyle Courtesy: Pinterest

1. Audrey Hepburn

All time classic and everyone’s favourite! Embrace your inner diva with pearls and gloves and turn yourself into the gorgeous Audrey Hepburn.

Step 1

Start by spraying the BBLUNT Blown Away Volumizing Leave-In Spray over the crown area on damp hair. Then blow-dry.

Step 2

Section hair into 5 parts (one on each side, one in front, one on top, and one in the back). Wrap your hair tightly in Hot Rollers and let it cool for 10 minutes. You can create the big curls with the help of the normal rollers as well but leave them on for around an hour or two.

Step 3

While taking out each section, back-brush the hair and tease. Take the back section, smoothen it and twist up at the back of the head. Add hairpins as you twist. Once the twist reaches the top of the head, leave the rest of the hair out.

Step 4

Then, take the left section, smooth out the top layer and secure with bobby pins next to the twist. Repeat with the right side. Finish off this look by spraying some of the BBLUNT Spotlight Hair Polish For Instant Shine. You can add a brooch or any jewelled hair accessory just like Audrey if you want. daenerys hairstyle Courtesy: Pinterest

2. Daenerys Targaryen

The mother of dragons, Danenerys Targaryen, has become a cult favourite for everyone watching the Game Of Thrones. Although it may look difficult, her hairstyle can actually be achieved with some practice.

Step 1

Start by prepping your hair with the BBLUNT Intense Moisture Hair Serum. Then create a middle parting.

Step 2

Starting with the top right side of the head, take a triangle section and begin braiding while taking sections of hair under as you go for an exposed braid. Stop once you get to the middle of the back of the head and tie the braid with an elastic band. Make sure the elastic band camouflages with the colour of your hair.

Step 3

Repeat the same on the other side so that it meets the other one on the back of the head. Once they meet, tie them together. Repeat these steps for the second braided section underneath. Wrap the 2 braids from the second braided section together, over the pony from the first braided section.

Step 4

With the help of a curling iron, twirl the bottom sections of your hair and create several curls. Addams family hairstyle Courtesy: Pinterest

3. Wednesday Addams

Simple and easy to re-create, this is one of our most favourite spooky hair looks. If you have waited until the end moment to create a look, then fret no more. All you need is a white collared shirt and your good old LBD!

Step 1

Black hair colour is the essence of this look. So make sure you have jet black hair with the help of BBLUNT Salon Secret High Shine Crème Hair Colour In Black, Natural Black. Then start by prepping your hair with the BBLUNT Climate Control Anti-Frizz Leave-In Cream.

Step 2

Divide your hair into two parts and create a middle parting. Then create the classic, normal braids on each side. Secure the braids with an elastic band.

Step 3

Add the layer of shine like the original character with the help of the BBLUNT Spotlight Hair Polish For Instant Shine. Accentuate the look more with some gothic makeup or opt for a neutral look. Either way, scare your way into Halloween just like the iconic Wednesday Addams! While you prep for Halloween, we are pretty sure we all have some hair horror stories we associate with.
