Adhuna Bhabani
Founder & Creative Director
“People will forget what you said, they will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”
-Maya Angelou
Adhuna, affectionately known to everyone in the industry as Od, launched her very first salon in India 1998 along with her brother Ashoke (AKA Osh), having already made a mark with her work in the UK and in India for doing things “a little bit differently.”
She is passionate about her craft and loves to teach and share…. it is this passion & determination that drives the brand at its core, coupled with the fact that Adhuna started her career as an apprentice in the UK and that she has had to learn the ropes at every level.
Inspired by the Punk Era which she was surrounded by at the age of 16 when she started hairdressing, more for the fashion than the music continues to be the spark that pushes her to try and always think out of the box.
Adhuna firmly believes in her core philosophies, she will not cut, copy, paste! She believes that everyone is unique and that “the only person you need to look like is you.” Her top priorities are being a great mentor and maintaining extremely high standards within her team, inspiring other hairdressers to achieve their best and ensuring every client that visits her salons leaves feeling their best, with the right products to maintain their hair at home.

Osh Bhabani
Co-Founder & Creative Director
Osh co-founded BBLUNT along with Adhuna with a commitment to build an army of kickass hairdressers and to drag the Indian hair industry into the new millennium.
BBLUNT has in many ways done that with groundbreaking film and fashion work, while training over 1000s of hairstylists since the inception of BBLUNT. Needless to say, this has made Osh proud.
Osh and Adhuna were able to create a brand that broke away from the norms of the Indian hair care market and have pushed themselves to always stay one step ahead of the curve.
Opening one of the first comprehensive training academies in India was a passion project for the brother-sister duo and Osh believes it to be one of the greatest reasons for their growth.
Being able to train hairstylists is what Osh believes has set BBLUNT apart. “Our clients were for the first time able to get kickass cuts and colours with any stylist in the salon, not just the superstars!”
Osh was in his early twenties when he and Adhuna decided to join forces and start their own company. He says it has been one of the most fun periods of his life “working super hard and playing even harder” and he feels that those fun times have reflected in the development of a brand culture which no other salon brand has in India, which gives him immense pride.
BBLUNT has been a massive learning experience for Osh. Building a business from scratch more than once is something he feels very proud of and hopes the fun days will continue for many more years!
Osh knows that if you have a good product and service the rest will fall into place. He believes he has basically been able to put Adhuna into a box and make her available to all BBLUNT clients through their development of the business and the team. This has been a key element to the company’s success.

Brent Barber
Creative Director
Brent Barber started his hair journey in Melbourne in early 1993 and right from the outset, he knew hair would be the catalyst for him to experience the world and life in all its color, beauty and excitement. After four years of sweeping floors, washing hair and making countless cups of tea, he got his qualification and soon thereafter he packed his bags and headed for the global hair capital of London. It was there that all his hard work and training paid off and 10 years later, he had a swag of magazine covers and a major award on his resume.
His hairdressing journey brought him to India & he joined BBLUNT as a Creative Director towards the end of 2010 and was immediately blown away by the passion and drive of the founding members Adhuna, Osh and Avan and the boundless energy of the people and country itself. The thing he is most proud of when he looks back at his career is his time in India and how he was able to make a positive impact on the hair Industry and in the process, help others achieve their hair journey. He is so privileged to have India in his life and continues to contribute to the brand in his must-do annual visits.

Spoorthy Shetty has over 2 decades of experience in the services and retail industry, having worked with some of India’s reputed names like TATA, MARICO & HUL.
Her exceptional grasp on driving customer service excellence and delivering consistent profitable business growth is the reason for the numerous awards under her belt. She has been recently awarded the “Business Woman of the year 2017” at the Future Woman Leader Summit.
Leading alignment to the overall vision of the company & engaging with the team drives her as an individual. She believes that if you can unleash passion; people get a sense of belonging, a sense of legacy which helps bring out the best.

What attracted her towards BBLUNT was that the brand refused to be straight-jacketed by social norms. She says that BBLUNT’ers are famous for being the misfits, the round peg in the square hole & they were the original “Disruptors” who revolutionized hairstyling in the film industry when they made a splash with their first movie, “Dil Chahta Hai.”
She is passionate about designing and executing the right processes and building a high- performance culture. She knows that listening to customers, employees & other stakeholders isn’t just an art but a necessity for the business.
